Daddy's Girl

Libby Xiao is loving some Daddy! She wants him 24/7. We did the Jinci Temple Tour today and libby did great...as long as she was holding daddy's hand. I am missing my boys so much I could just break - 7 days is a LONG time to be away from them and it is starting to take a toll on me. I cant even imagine how i am going to make it to 22nd but I look at Libby xiao I know that this is exactly where i should be. It's just hard bonding with her without the boys being here - of course if they were we would not be able. Please pray for our homesickness and missing the boys to decrease because we have a long time until we are coming home. We are about to go to the river to walk around it and play. Tomorrow, we are going to the zoo then we FINALLY fly out of Taiyuan and head to Guanghouz.

    SO thankful to get to talk to you this morning, and just hear sweet peeps coming from Libby. Praying for you to enjoy every moment of the next 10 days with Libby. Can't even imagine how bad you miss those boys- I promise they are doing great.

    The boys are doing awesome. Just think about how badly she needs your full attention and the fact that in the big scheme of things you will forget what it even felt like to be away from them as soon as you are back home and in your routine. I NEED MY LITTLE GIRL HERE THOUGH!

    I was missing my kids in the US as well. But one mom referred to our time in China as our "honeymoon" with Elizabeth...and I realized how true that was when we got home. Libby is so desperate for your undivided attention right now and you will really use these days as a base in the future. She is bonding to you even though she is preferring Daddy. We had the SAME experience : ) I love how you are giving her so much control with her clothes/coat...bless her heart she has lost so much. Its so loving of you to be sensitive to that. It might seem small to some but I think it is HUGE to her. And so wise of you to earn her trust!
